Trainers can be bland and boring. In fact it's been known for people to fall asleep in training - thankfully not with us. In fact, we like to think, we're the complete opposite of boring. And let's face it, if we can't make our own presentations interesting, we don't deserve your business!

What's special about us and our training?

Our team has many years experience in research, management, IT/programming and even theatre. By combining these, we can give you the most comprehensive presentation skills training there is.

We believe it's about you and your message - the medium is the means, not the end. That means we'll work with you to help you find your style, with or without PowerPoint, with or without microphones… but always without stress and with a huge impact.

We also believe - strongly - that you can't learn this kind of thing if you're wound up, nervous or anxious. That means we work very hard indeed to make sure our time with you is as much fun as it it is hard work and useful. We aim to make you laugh as much as you learn.

But that doesn't mean our time with you will be easy-going. It won't. If everything goes right it will feel like that, but that's all.

You'll finish a day's work with us (we hope!) happy, satisfied and tired! The outcome will give you better presentation, public speaking or vocal skills that will make an impact each and every time you use them - we promise.

It's hard to define how do our presentations training, because we customise our approach for each client. Typically though, we'll have a conversation with your presentation needs by email before we even agree to do the training. That's important because it means you get what you need (as well as what you want) and we can be sure that we're a good fit with what you want as a presenter. We're so confident out training will help that we make you a promise: if our presentation skills training doesn't feel worthwhile, just don't pay for it!

A lot of our clients (and according to the research, a lot of people in general!) suffer from significant nerves when they're presenting. We've put together a short video to share one tip for dealing with presentation nerves. It's not great because of Youtube compression but we offer it as a bit of help for your presentations

Presentations are part and parcel of being an academic but they're often the hardest part of a researcher or lecturer's career. One of the most common problems we've noticed at conferences is that presentation timings are really poor. Hopefully this might help
